Had a patient of mine hurt her knee in London while at school. Wouldn’t Xray her,35weeks minimum wait to see an Ortho, no MRI avail .Would only allow her to do physio? Flew home to see me. Anyone who thinks NHS is a model to follow in US,is mistaken.

Update: LA County housestaff won a big increase in salary, 10k housing stipend, increase in food budget, signing bonus+welcome bonus for interns & more. It’s funny how a hospital will say they have no money to pay ppl fairly until the means of production are bout to be seized. 🙂
