Does anyone else remember 1970s/1980s "Bio Feedback" kiosks that used to be in arcades, bars, random other places? It was a little machine that you'd put your hand on. I seem to remember it having a silhouette of a human body/head on it. I know this exists but can't find pics!

Starting a formal email with “I trust you are well…” seems nice, but it’s actually hella aggressive. You are advised to not trust anything you know or think about me; thanks!

Would be fun to see The Cure again when they're here in late May, but $200 each to sit on the lawn at the Shoreline?? $500-$1k each for actual seats? 🥴 Not gonna happen.

Pulse check: did the SVB news make you, a non tech founder/VC/employee worry that your bank or credit union would collapse or that you would not be paid or that you would lose your life savings?
33% No, clearly a tech thing
33% Yes, it would’ve “spread”
33% What’s SVB?

When I was in Jr High this was the coolest car on the street. Even though it was already 3-4 years old by that time. This was THE primo Bay Area ride.

So I've been mostly avoiding this ChatGPT/AI takeover business because the service requires you to enter your phone number to play with it. But yesterday I found a site (you dot com) that doesn't require sign up. I had to make a thread because this is too fucking funny and weird.
