5 years ago today I uploaded my first Big Brother video, thinking it was a fun one time thing that I hoped maybe a few people would watch and enjoy.
Now here I am today, forever grateful for the community that surrounds me, and still in disbelief that this is real life

I know this finale didn't turn out how some of you may have wanted, but I think that was a great finale for this specific season.
What a crazy moment to see that Taylor actually succeeded in convincing Devens to take her to the final 2 and evict Drew. I do not want that move to go unrecognized, and it led to what is probably the 2nd most emotional final eviction ever.
I would have rather seen the final vote be a little closer, but at the end of the day Rick Devens played the game with the cards he was dealt, and I will always appreciate him making the big bold moves every step of the way rather than playing it safe. Also, I distinctly remember watching Survivor 38 all those years ago and feeling crushed when Devens lost fire to Chris at the very end, so to see him redeem himself and seeing how emotional him and his family were made it all feel right to me.
I just want everyone to love Big Brother the way that I love it no matter if your favorite wins or loses. Team chaos and fun feeds all the way, and I hope that we can actually take Julie's words to heart and love one another more lol #BB28

If you're like me, you may have tuned out of BB28 after the Final HOH Part 2 results were finalized. There's just nothing going on in the house that I care about.

Holy cow I can’t believe Drew lost body parts 1 & 2 of the Final HOH.
For me, we got the best case scenario going until finale night. A Taylor vs Devens showdown in part 3.
If Devens wins, he wins the season.
If Taylor wins, she cuts Devens and has the most momentum she’s ever had going into the final 2 jury questioning, possibly enough to earn Angela’s jury vote and beat Drew 4-3.
Thursday can’t come quick enough I’m so excited #BB28

Before today I really thought Dee was gonna slither her way to the final 2 and take the win. The fact that she made it this far and proved she didn’t need the advantages in key rounds where she absolutely should have gone home just proves that she is one of the greats.
But I guess we’ll have to wait for Jag to go to on Survivor 53 before we get our first Survivor/BB winner.
Also I forgot to post about Melody when she left but I loved her even if she wasn’t game relevant a lot of the time. She was great at screaming and crying and I promise I’m not saying that in a mean way, I thoroughly enjoyed her angry rants #BB28

Also, a healthy reminder that you don’t win Big Brother by playing “the best game”. You win Big Brother by earning more jury votes than your opponent in the final 2.
I see so much arguing over how Taylor hasn’t done enough to have “played the best game”, but thats just simply not how winning a jury vote works a lot of the time.
The same thing could be said about Drew.
With the way the jury is structured this year, it feels very likely that Taylor will always have Lala’s vote (and Yash’s if she wins Final HOH), and Drew will always have Dee, Devens, and Melody’s votes.
Some seasons strategy will reign supreme. This season is just not one of those seasons, and it’s the social bonds and the competitive resume that’s gonna decide the winner. Big Brother has always been a game of three pillars, and it’s up to the players to figure out which of those pillars will be valued most in a jury vote, and basing their final decisions off of that read. #BB28
Within the last 8 days, all three of the finalists were in a win or go home spot and they clutched it out.
I feel like the discussion of who people want to win would be a bit less hostile if we just accept the fact that literally all three of the finalists have pretty major flaws to their games and that’s okay!
