If you're a right winger and you're concerned about Sharia you've been psyopped. Le Pen is exposing the scam.
What do you care which laws Muslims use to marry, split property and inheritance, how to dress etc? Does how they govern themselves affect YOU in any way? Does that change anything about how they act?
Or do you think they actually want to make YOU live under Sharia? They don't. At least not until they're 80-90% of the population.
So what does being "anti Sharia" mean? It's assimilationist slop. It's just doing what liberalism has tried for decades with a little bit more push.
The idea: no, you can't live under your own laws, you have to live under OUR, western liberal progressive laws; no you can't act like a Muslim, you have to act and be exactly like us.
Is that the grand solution to our problems? Attempting to make them act like us by force?
None of the kids rioting in France give a shit about Islam or Sharia.
They'll smoke and drink, they'll swear and have sex, they'll harass and burn down their own schools—yet they'll still brand the Palestinian or Algerian flag and would never identify with the French flag. Ever. All without any Sharia or any Islam.
"Sharia law" is a pseudo problem and a pseudo solution.
A pseudo problem because the problem isn't even Islam, it's racial resentment, and Islam is just a moment of the identity that produces it.
A pseudo solution because "banning Sharia" won't make Muslim-origin kids suddenly like white countries or think we are good people. They'll still see us as the racist colonsier who ruined their parents country and bombs Palestine and thus deserve to be smashed, even if they're atheists.
So when Le Pen says "Islam belongs to France but not Sharia" she says "Muslim-origin citizens will behave exactly native French people if we only got rid of the extremist elements of Islam". That's what you support by engaging in anti Sharia slopulism. The problem, again, is racial resentment, resentment at white people having more money, more capital and potentially better futures. That's it.
Oui, l'islam est compatible avec la République, je l'ai dit dix fois.
En revanche, ceux qui cherchent à imposer la charia en France me trouveront sur leur chemin. Les musulmans, eux, n'ont aucune raison de s'inquiéter.
