This mentality will be the end of civilization. It robs everything of any aspiration and leave you with nothing but pity. And it will be 'pitiful'

And what does the average Joe, who cannot pay their bills right now, get out of this?

The ATO is removing card payments Why? Due to the processing costs Ironic Should they not just absorb the costs like any small business is having to do It's not the win you think it is.......

I can accept 'unruly'
Huge drop in web traffic to the biggest US news websites. I know that the anti-mainstream media is loving this but news are now consumed from unruly sources to a higher degree than before. That opens up the flood gates for misinformation more than before.

Tell me you’ve never seen a sheep being shorn without telling me.

*ideally not involving the kitchen
Should you ever have the good fortune of purchasing a home in which to raise children, look for one with a "circle" in the floor plan, around which children can run.

I believe vaccines are generally very good. I also believe we shouldn't be coerced as citizens. I also think childcare subsidy needs to go (one day, not immediately)
Tomorrow in the Senate, my “No Jab No Pay” Repeal Bill finally gets to a vote. If passed it would restore the basic right of parents to object to some or all of the childhood vaccination schedule for personal, religious, medical or philosophical reasons without the government cutting off Child Care Subsidy and Family Tax Benefit. Financial coercion is not consent. It’s time to end this policy and put decision-making back where it belongs, with Australian families. Thanks to @senatorbabet for using his time in the chamber to move the Bill. To hear more from me and stay up to date, signup to my email newsletter here: alexantic.com.au/join

and yes, for performance the thrusters ideally would be able to point upwards to increase traction
One of the things that excites me about the next-gen Tesla Roadster is that this is really the first vehicle Tesla has been able to design/engineer without a hyper focus on cost efficiency. The goal of this vehicle is for it to be the ultimate driver’s car, have ultimate performance, and be as cool as possible. There will no doubt be many firsts with this vehicle (if you can even call it that).

I've actually found in a multilingual context, using the real/ latin word is better as it often translates more directly. Also I don't treat people like they're 5yo

How did we have FLYING SHIP TAXIS in the 1970s that were somehow scrubbed from our memory over the past 50 years?

I have a friend that did the same. They still had precious time to pour love into their child
I have a brother who would have been 27 today. He was born with anencephaly. My mom and dad prayed that he would live for 30 minutes, and he lived for 31 minutes and passed peacefully in my mom’s arms knowing nothing but love. A lifetime’s worth of love poured into 31 minutes. There were days I remember my mom sitting at our table, sobbing with her head down. Playing “Hello, Goodbye” by Michael W. Smith on repeat. Unable to get off the couch. Talking with her this morning, these are some of the things she told me she has learned and reflected on over the years. “Dying is a part of living. I don’t regret talking to my children about their brother who would be born, but not live.” “Life is sacred. God calls each one into existence and determines when we breathe our last.” “I can still see his hands and feet, and feel him in my arms. Funny how time flies, but still feels so real.” “Joy truly did come. It took some time. A long time. But it did come.”
