I used to be on these young kids about wanting offers but I’m going to side with them some.
Here’s my take:
“I like your kid, he can really play” has become the safest phrase in recruiting.
Until there’s an offer attached, it’s just a compliment.
College coaches if you genuinely like a player and feel like he can help your program offer him. I’ve heard a lot of coaches say in the past. “We should’ve offered him” after he’s showed his value somewhere else.
