WoW Forever is capping at level 60. Forever.
No expansion coming to make your gear obsolete overnight. Growth comes from new zones, dungeons, raids, quests, that kind of thing.
Beta's live, launch is Nov 4.
Curious if an MMO can hold up long term without ever moving the level cap.
Steam Machine, 3 months in: 1.049 - 1.349, about 12-15k units/week sold, hit #2 on Steam's revenue charts behind CS2, with mixed reviews, price is the sticking point.

Steam Frame got priced: $1,059 for 256GB, $1,299 for 1TB. Not even a direct buy, it's a waitlist lottery (opened Sept 14, first confirmations Sept 18). Comes with Half-Life: Alyx, 2 controllers, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB RAM, 2160x2160 per eye.
Meta Quest starts at $349 for 512GB, nearly 3x cheaper. A global RAM shortage is reportedly behind the jump, same issue that pushed the Steam Machine to $1,049 in June.
