Look for the people willing to sacrifice early in the hope of building something greater over time.
“KOL” may be a fancy label, but some put real skin in the game. They form partnerships, work with other voices in the space, and invest their time, reputation, and resources into something larger than themselves.
That is incredibly difficult. Interests conflict, personalities clash, and everyone has different priorities. But when it all comes together, as we are seeing with @baseapp, @base, @baseposting, @jessepollak, @blknoiz06, @pantheonvaults, @Mr_Lightspeed and many others, the community alignment is something special to witness and appreciate.

I love @base.
After everything I went through with Shibarium, including the grift, unpaid invoices, defamation, and now aggregators starting to delist them, I have never been happier to move forward.
I am grateful my community came with me for the journey.
My mental health is in a better place. I am far happier now than I was dealing with that mess. The community here has been amazing: positive, supportive, and genuinely constructive.
Best of all, I no longer have to waste energy on sycophants whose only response to anything thoughtful is a laughing emoji or an attempt to attack someone’s character.
That alone is peace.
And the funny part, to retort, they have to show their true colors how ugly they are.
