Thiessen is attacking all who tried to warn Trump that this war would be a disaster in order to keep Trump in state of siege. But if it was all just about ideas, you should find hardly any difference between Liberia and New England. Had Trump used the mandate voters gave him & delivered on his campaign promises — making America affordable again, no new wars, DOGEing the swamp, etc. — Republicans would be on course to dominate midterms.
