I've been sending cold DMs every Sunday for the past 3 months. Targeting LinkedIn SaaS founders and course creators. These 2 are in dire need of creative marketers who can make them more money. Last week Sunday, I sent a DM to an Australian startup founder on LinkedIn. He's a single father with a 2 years old beautiful daughter. He doesn't joke with his weekends. But I still decided to send it. Before that, I had already done my research. He is making money from his product but he has problem with scaling. He's been trying to move from $3k per month to $10k for months (He wants a luxurious life for his daughter). I addressed that painpoint in the DM I sent him using one of my cold pitching strategies (DM if you want to see it). He replied 2 hours later. We jumped on a call. Sent a proposal immediately after the call. September is getting better. Hallelujah.

Many of the founders you are dragging, 80% of them are running the startups with their personal fund. Do you know how many times I have considered wrapping up my own startup but when I remember those in my employment… Pulling the plug will make more people unemployed, so I just continue to use the money I suppose to use in buying Dangote IPO to pay salary. If every startup that is not profitable shutdown, do you know how many people will become unemployed? You all should go and start your own business and know how easy it is.

Random advice for your remote job hunt: There is VERY often a huge difference between a real recruiter and a scammer. A real recruiter will usually tell you what caught their attention, mention the role, and give you enough information to verify the opportunity. Whereas, a scammer will often rush you, make ridiculous promises, ask for money, or request sensitive information way too early. The red flags are always there. Don’t let desperation or overexcitement make you ignore them.

I hate lending money to new parents especially first timers. I always regret it.😂 They have a way of guilt-tripping you into leaving the money with them.
