Twenty-five years ago today, the devastating attacks on our homeland changed the course of our nation forever. Today, I honored the memory of those impacted with @VP at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City, and remembered the first responders, public servants, and everyday Americans who answered that day.

It was my great honor to swear in Joe Hoyt as GSA’s Chief Information Security Officer. Joe previously served in the role in an acting capacity, distinguishing himself as a proven leader with the judgment, expertise, and creativity needed to confront today’s rapidly evolving cyber threats.
