Yesterday, we joined industry partners for a tour of the new state-of-the-art Richard Offerdahl '65 Engineering Complex. This approximately $100 million project was made possible through philanthropy, state investment and industry support.
One of the defining strengths of a land-grant university is its connection to the people and industries it serves, and this complex is a powerful example of that partnership. The facility will support NDSU students through hands-on learning and experiential education, helping North Dakota State University respond to workforce needs across the state and region, for generations to come.
A special thank you to all of the donors and supporters who made it happen. We hope the community will join us for the ribbon-cutting and dedication during Homecoming week, to see the building and what it means for the future of our state.
