Pico 2 plus usbliter8 sounds like a good little hardware-debugging combo. The micro USB is annoying in 2026, but at around $5 the Pico 2 is still hard to complain about. PIO is the part that keeps making these boards more useful than they look at first.

could you lowkey make a tutorial on what to solder where? I definitely did something wrong on my board 😭
