Motherhood often shows up in the details: packing lunches, managing busy schedules, caring for families, and making everyday decisions that keep households running. Behind those moments are moms and mother figures everywhere, bringing it all together each day. This Mother’s Day, we’re especially proud to recognize the moms across FHCP and our member companies whose work helps support those same everyday moments for families across Canada. Thank you for everything you do at home and at work. Happy Mother’s Day.

DYK: #ExtendedProducerResponsibility (EPR) is an environmental policy approach where producers are financially and operationally responsible for the management of their product packaging for its full life cycle, including after use. In 2026 Canadian producers, including manufacturers and retailers, will pay more than $2B in fees to support EPR programs for packaging across Canada. With new provincial programs in operation and program expansions, the regulatory complexity and astronomical cost impacts have materially changed how companies engage in these files.
