😱REAL ALPHA ABOUT @FomiesNFT Found some easter eggs in the code of the fomies website. I thought maybe the team had hidden something for us, but I didn't find any major secret. Still, there are a few interesting things: 👀The Vent The vent to the right of the door, underneath the fire extinguisher. There are no clues, but the cursor changes when you hover over it. If you keep the mouse there for ~1.2 seconds, the vent gets slightly brighter. Inside is a Fomie who “came early”: “four years. or one bear market” It’s waiting for a mint that hasn’t been announced yet. It also says: “there's room in the other vent” The spider inside sold in 2022. The moth “went to the lamp.” When asked about the vending machine: “it's yield” It also asks what’s happening with Bitcoin and remembers your answer the next time you interact with it, but only until you reload the page. The save functionality is disabled in the code. 👀The Elevator Right now it says “OUT OF ORDER” and is blocked off with tape. But there’s an unused asset on the server: assets/gate/hover-elevator.webp The doors are slightly open, and there are red eyes visible in the darkness. There’s also an instruction in the HTML showing how to bring the elevator back. You can check it by opening the website’s element inspector and pasting this into the console: document.querySelector('[data-box=elevator]').src='assets/gate/hover-elevator.webp' 👀A note for people who zoom in Hidden inside the mobile menu icon, menu-noticeboard.webp: “internal memo · do not pin — Applicants keep zooming in on the noticeboard. this note is a test to see how far they'll go. if you can read this, you went too far. return to the desk. the clerk has noticed.” 👀Six notes on the noticeboard The text is baked directly into the images. They mention: The missing stapler: “the department apologises to everyone accused” Round schedules “review round 1 begins sep…” Wallets: “sitting out is not a rejection. it is a chair” How the whitelist works: “your classification affects nothing. we are very proud of it” What I checked - nothing there - No source maps. - No hidden attachments, trailing data, or text chunks in the images. - Spectrograms of all 26 audio files are clean. - The knocking sound has 5 hits with uneven gaps. Doesn't look like Morse. - No hidden frames in the video logo. - Nothing hidden in the CSS or console. So far, no obvious “big secret” - but there are definitely a lot of little details hidden around the site.
