Rn my theory is Hypernova will come back in the late game but as an 'Ultra' ability.
WB Ultra Sword has this star shape in Kirby's cheek that I see as a crack from all the world's energy wells being dumped into Kirby-

If that stays consistent, it would be sick if the final boss / late game, had a similar 'draw enemy from the environments' and channel all that into Kirby to the point where, like w hypernova, the iridescent sheen fully takes over and he gains the ultra version of himself

My theory against every dome being a new Kirby game with gimmick and motif and design all returning, is there's no way it ends at Ultra Sword lol. Again I can see plenty of nods being made, even domes being modelled after old Kirby worlds visited in other games totally. But like there's no way we don't get Ultra Sleep and it doesnt put like EVERYONE to Sleep lmao.

Uhhh other thoughts. This thread has already gotten way too long.
I think we'll see gun ability return. It just meshes so well with 3D.
Ufo would be sick for next to unrestricted movement.
Wing / Jet would be chill for non-gliding aerial movement.
Long Arm Kirby.
It's tough because I can see SO many abilities doing well in 3D. ESPECIALLY if they turned bomb into high jump. Like at that point any ability could just take the role of any other with clever design. Like sure wheel would be great horizontal traversal but what if we got Ice creating a big frozen chunk you can ride on or Spark letting you highspeed zap forward.
Hell give me Long LEG Kirby and he just fucking runs idk man.

Speaking of, let's talk multiplayer.
Whether it be the popstar globe (odd bc we're not ON popstar so what would that globe look like in other parts of the game? I noted it down a while ago but it would be sick if every dome was modelled after a planet and this globe stayed updated. So like we could see a shiver star world w a globe to match but that's way too far down the crackhead rabbit hole)-

ok. multiplayer. The popstar globe is so interesting. If it IS multiplayer, it feels to me like you'd probably be able to explore the same dome that the host is exploring. Something that feels like air riders if everyone hops off their star. If that's what they do, @SmallAnt @cjyaTV @Moarf23 @SimplyFir @GrandPOOBear and everyone else hmu we're running hide and seek in Kirby
