During the tests, the detonation of a 2 kg device created a fireball with a temperature of over 1,000 degrees Celsius, lasting for 2 seconds. Other details of the tests have not been disclosed. The development is being carried out by researchers at the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), which is also involved in the production of underwater weaponry. The creators of the device state that the intensity of the explosion can be precisely controlled. This allows for even targeting of objectives across a large area.
