Friday Treat Time and we’re welcoming the New Moon with this magnificent Moonlight Sky design by Cindy Beadman. Hand-dyed in shades of midnight blue, this 1980s silk satin dress is appliquéd with clouds, stars and a crescent moon and edged with a celestial silver thread.

Friday Treat Time and a splendid set of stomachers from the 1700s. Worn point down at the front of the bodice, these decorative triangular-shaped panels of fabric were an essential part of a woman’s dress in the 18th century filling in the gap left at the top of an open gown.
