If you’re interested in learning Data Analytics but don’t have a laptop, this is for you. 📱 I’ve been seeing this question for some time now, and I came across it again this morning on my TL. Yes, it is possible to start your Data Analytics journey with just your smartphone. There are tools you can use on your phone to learn, practise and work with datasets. I’ve used these tools too. I’m not saying there are no limitations. There definitely are, especially as you progress to more advanced tools. But it is very doable for learning the fundamentals and practising what you’re taught. Here are some tested tools you can start with 👇🏽 1. Google Sheets: With this, you can create, edit and analyse spreadsheets, including Excel files. Here’s the link: workspace.google.com/product… 2. Microsoft Excel Mobile App: Here you can actually enter data, load datasets on it, practice formulas, sorting, filtering, charts and basic data analysis on your phone. You can download this on AppStore and Google PlayStore. 3. SQLBolt: Here you can learn SQL and practise writing queries directly in your browser. And it runs smoothly on smartphones. Here’s the link: colab.research.google.com/ So when you’re given a dataset or simple tasks in class, you can open any of these on your phone, practice along and follow what your tutor is teaching instead of waiting until you get a laptop. Of course, you’ll eventually need a laptop in the long run, but that doesn’t stop you from acquiring the knowledge you seek. Start with your Phone. Learn with your Phone. Practice with your phone.
