WOW! 🤯 Shannon Sharpe Exposes the Playbook: How the NCAA and Elite Coaches Are Allegedly Maneuvering Behind the Scenes of NIL 💰 "You see how they did it, OCHO? What'd they do? They get the NILs, get the NIL straight, the players can only make X, now we're going to expand it by 12. And everybody got a raise. Coach Saban kept getting to become the highest paid. It was not a problem. This is why I don't want no 2014, 'cause 2014, Alabama lose three games and still get in the playoffs. You see how they did it, OCHO?"  "Everybody got somebody talking for their behalf, except the players. They got Coach Saban politicking for the coaches, for the colleges, and you have these big execs talking about these TV deals. Poor player college players, they, you know, ain't got nobody talking under them. And that, that hurts them. That hurts the product. So who's that representative? Because we know the networks are going to speak for the networks' execs, the presidents, and they're going to speak for the networks. We know coaches are going to speak for former coaches."  IsoJoe: "That's why the college kids need a union, bro. They need to have somebody to hear their gripes and groans. They ain't letting that happen. You got Coach Saban out there every Sunday. He is the gold standard. Whatever he says, that's what the NCAA and that's what Congress is going to listen to. Congress didn't, when coaches' salaries keep going up, they never intervened. When the NCAA keep making money, guess what, they keep expanding.” “They expanded the basketball March Madness. They expanded the college football playoffs. Congress did not intervene."  "Every time, uh, Dabo got a raise, Coach Saban got a raise, he became the highest paid. Kirby Smart got a raise, Coach Saban got a raise, became the highest paid. “Everybody get a raise. Coach Saban kept getting to become the highest paid. It was not a problem. But the problem is the players making too much money, and you know, they're living in these neighborhoods, on golf courses. The players, they driving them big boy foreign whips now, yeah."  "You don't, you don't screw them for 70 years. Let them a little get back, let them get some reparations. Man, I'm still trying to get some back pay here. Since when did Congress give a damn about NCAA football? It's been big business though, uncle. It is. But the big business is that the college and the coaches was making all the money. The players weren't making no money. The players was happy to get a little car. They get a challenger, they get a pickup truck, or they get a charger, uh, TRX or rat scat pack. That were cool."  "And then all of a sudden, it's like, hold on. That joke going to make 3 million, 4 million, 5 million, 6 million? Yeah. Whatever the market will bear. Coaches jump around and don't, hey, with no, when their contract ain't even up. Brian Kelly left Cincinnati, went to Notre Dame. Left Notre Dame, go to LSU. Last I check, I don't think, uh, Lane Kiffin, I don't think his contract was up, OCHO. He jumped."
