"Iowa Speedway's grandstands hold about 24,000 fans. ... Last year's race featured temporary suites and drew about 45,000 fans, much closer to the capacity at most Cup Series tracks. This year those temporary suites were not built." - @DMRegister desmoinesregister.com/story/…

NASCAR TV ratings per Cup race 2005- 11.5 million 2025- 3 million NASCAR is still an amazing sport but in no way shape or form has it “moved forward” with this current playoff format
Mark you know I love you but what we got is a whole lot better than what we used to do. We need a playoff we need eliminations we need to reward winning and consistency. This format does it all & is highly entertaining!

.@TNTdrama + @truTV got 1.608 million viewers for Saturday's delayed NASCAR Cup race at Echo Park. ➡️ That does not include @StreamOnMax viewers. ➡️ No direct comparison to last year because Atlanta was in September and the same calendar weekend was Nashville on Sunday on NBC.

Sports events this past Sunday faced much stiffer competition from news channels than they did the prior year, likely due to the Middle East coverage, with CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Newsmax averaging a combined 4.21 million viewers from noon to 6:00pm ET versus 1.86M last year.
