I don’t know what changed, but he hasn’t looked like himself since the Strickland fight. And honestly, that loss might’ve affected him way more than we realize.

Volkov would be on a 7-fight win streak right now if the judges didn’t rob him against Gane. Since losing to Aspinall in 2022, he’s beaten Rozenstruik, Romanov, Tuivasa, Pavlovich, Almeida and Acosta. Dana literally told him after the Gane fight, “I’ll make it right.” And somehow Volkov still isn’t getting the title shot. How is this making it right? 😭

It's kinda funny. Justin beating Ilia has sort of made him just as cocky. 😂 One bad fight and suddenly Ilia is “too small.” I need to see 2 more fights before I buy that narrative. Dude has elite striking, elite grappling, and just suffered the first loss of his career. Let’s see how he responds before we write him off.

I really don’t like this matchup for Rosas. Barcelos is such a crafty veteran. He’s got a ton of experience, can really grapple, and his striking is legit too. We saw what he did to Talbot, and look how good Talbot has looked since that loss. There are just so many ways Barcelos can make this fight ugly for Rosas. I’m not saying Rosas can’t get it done… but I might have to take Barcelos here. 👀
