Ray McGovern on the Bucha Massacre... of truth, and other Western media big lies in the service of war. Recently, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov presented new details at the United Nations that substantiate the claim that the Bucha killings were a false-flag propaganda stunt to smear Russia and to wreck any prospect of an early peace deal with Ukraine. A Russian-led investigation reveals that many of the alleged civilian victims whose names are inscribed on a memorial wall were identified as Ukrainian soldiers who had been killed in action and buried elsewhere. As McGovern notes, not one major Western media outlet reported on Lavrov’s presentation at the UN. McGovern believes the perpetrators were MI6, CIA, and the Kiev regime operatives. A lesson from French student strikes and chaos... They are but one more manifestation of the deep social and economic crises afflicting all European countries due to decades of capitalist inequality. Hence, as Fyodor Lukyanov comments below, European and NATO leaders must scapegoat an external enemy/threat (Russia) to avoid internal consequences. The internal crises are intensifying towards systemic collapse. Concomitantly, the demonization of Russia is intensifying to the point of war. As in previous wars, the scoundrel, criminal politicians are trying to survive at the expense of millions of others.
‘They [EU] need to find a menace which, as during the Cold War, can unify Europe’ Fyodor Lukyanov, Program Director of the Valdai International Discussion Club, explains why he believes Europe’s internal problems create a need for a common external enemy — Russia Watch the full episode of East Meets West

bbc.com/news/videos/c3lyl28l… Cue false-flag attack on US? Trump callously says Iran can 'take out' LA or San Diego with 10-13 million population in deranged contempt for domestic opposition. But with Trump regime running on empty in its disastrous war of aggression on Iran, the danger peaks for inflicting a mass casualty event to rally war fever.

🇷🇺 Russian MFA Sergey Lavrov Exposes Western Imperialism at the UNGA: “In recent days, we have heard repeatedly – from this rostrum and in the corridors of the General Assembly – that tectonic shifts are underway in global politics, and that a more just, multipolar world order is emerging before our very eyes.” “As Russian President Vladimir Putin has put it, the dictatorship of a single hegemon ‘ (the United States)…is getting out of control and is simply dangerous for others.’” “The Western minority, which has dominated for five centuries by exploiting the resources of others, persists in its attempts to retain its privileges and impose its ‘rules’ on everyone else. The West increasingly resorts to the use of brute force, acts unpredictably and recklessly, and jeopardises the lives and well-being of millions – if not billions – of people on our shared planet.” “In the 1950s, the Soviet Union helped African, Asian and Latin American countries to break free from the shackles of colonial dependence. Further democratisation of international affairs is impossible without eradicating the neo-colonial practices that persist to this day. We will be glad to see supporters of the struggle against modern neo-colonial practices from all states at the 1st For the Freedom of Nations International Inter-Party Movement World Assembly that is taking place in Russia within a few months.” “Earlier this year, in violation of all norms, including moral ones, a US invasion of Venezuela culminated in the capture of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, and their detention without trial in an American prison… We insist on the immediate release of the Venezuelan leader and his spouse and demand that such outrages not be repeated in the future.” “We regard the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with members of his family and the military and political leadership of the Islamic Republic, as an unacceptable manifestation of the diktat of force.” “We are convinced that the time has also come to resolve the Middle East’s central issue: securing statehood for the Palestinian people in accordance with numerous UN resolutions. Almost a year ago, the Security Council endorsed a US-championed ‘peace plan’ for Gaza – yet peace has not been achieved.” “Now, realising the futility of their efforts, Europe is doing everything to prevent a peaceful settlement and to derail negotiations.” “While downplaying Nazi Germany’s responsibility for the genocide of the Soviet people and feeling no shame about Germany’s role as a primary sponsor of the Nazi regime in Kiev, Chancellor Merz declares that Germany must ‘once again’ become the biggest military power in Europe. Do they realise in Berlin what ‘once again’ means and where it can lead? Did the outcome of World War II teach you nothing?” “Yet 80 years on, not everyone has learned the lessons of Nuremberg. Judging by the statements of their representatives, the ruling elites of many EU countries are clearly afflicted by the virus of racial superiority and are nurturing extremist, Russophobic ideas. They condone the leaders of the Ukrainian regime in Kiev as they honour inveterate war criminals and Nazi collaborators. Almost the entire West votes here in this hall, year after year, against the Russia-sponsored resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism.” “Inadvertently, one starts to think that both Nazism and the outrageous violations of the freedom of speech, information and faith by the Ukrainian regime actually form the core of these very ‘European values.’” “We will carry through our fight for the truth and justice: the goals of the special military operation will be achieved; threats to Russia’s security will be eliminated and peaceful life restored.” “Our principled approach is that a reform of the Security Council cannot provide any extra seats to the Western countries – especially Germany and Japan – that have taken the path of militarisation and revanchism.”

On the eve of destruction? Yes, but whose destruction? October 2, 2026 War is highly probable, but it is not inevitable. Link: https://strategic-culture .su/news/2026/10/02/on-the-eve-of-destruction-yes-but-whose-destruction/ We are living in an extremely dangerous moment in history. We are also living in an extremely irrational time, at least when it comes to evaluating the mentality, conduct, and words of Western politicians and media in the face of disaster. On the one hand, Western leaders, pundits, and military commanders clamor with predictions of war with Russia as being imminent. Yet on the other hand, there is an astounding dereliction to avert it. Diplomacy and understanding are boorishly shunned. Indeed, there is an absolutely irrational choice of escalation towards war, especially among European politicians. Underlying this, of course, is an ideological supremacist belief, a contempt for Russia and other officially designated enemies (China, Iran, and so on), whereby the Western political class sees itself as superior, not as equals. That mentality makes for war and precludes diplomatic engagement and dialogue. In any objective reading of the situation, there is little doubt that the danger of all-out world war is upon us. Incredibly, for the third time in just over a century, the planet is facing the specter of a massive international conflict. But on this occasion, the outcome would be nuclear conflagration with the extinction of life as we know it. This repeated destruction is a damning indictment of the Western system, its capitalist and imperialist engines for violence, domination and, inevitably, conflict. Surely, such a system should be abolished. The Doomsday Clock, overseen by the independent Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, is at its closest point to midnight in all of 80 years of existence. The clock was inaugurated following the U.S. atomic horror attacks on Japan in 1945. It was meant to serve as a warning of the increasing risk of nuclear war. It is truly a frightening spectacle that today’s danger of global disaster surpasses the many perils that were encountered during the Cold War decades. Today’s tensions surpass even those of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis when the United States and the Soviet Union edged towards a nuclear war. Many Western scholars, legal experts, analysts, and seasoned diplomats have increasingly added their voices warning of the ultimate disaster. We pay respect to the sane voices of people like Alfred de Zayas, Jeffrey Sachs, Larry Johnson, and Scott Ritter, voices in the West that, unlike their political class, are passionately warning of the path to perdition the world is on and needs to urgently get off. The warning words are flashing like a red light, yet Western leaders keep making decisions and issuing belligerent statements that are driving the world to the precipice. This week, European politicians have again openly advocated attacking the Russian Federation by blockading Kaliningrad, the Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and NATO chief Mark Rutte (former Dutch premier) have echoed calls from other European politicians to effectively attack Kaliningrad, that is, to attack the Russian Federation. Russia’s nuclear doctrine explicitly states that such an assault compels it to use nuclear weapons in response. So, why do NATO leaders keep pushing provocation? Such moves are merely an extension of the NATO proxy war in Ukraine. Their war is a failure. But the Western pro-war politicians cannot admit they are wrong. They are willing to incite a wider war rather than admit defeat and face the political repercussions from their own citizens. Russia this week issued a grave warning, saying that any attack on Kaliningrad would result in Russian retaliation with nuclear weapons. Instead of coming to their senses and sobering up, European politicians haughtily dismiss Russia’s warnings as a “bluff” or accuse Moscow of nuclear saber-rattling. In a plenary address to the Valdai forum in Moscow on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin underlined the infernal precariousness. “If it comes to a direct attack on the Russian Federation – in this case, Kaliningrad, although it could potentially involve other territories as well – the question of Russia using all the weapons at its disposal would inevitably and immediately arise. That is inevitable,” said Putin. In an ominous assessment of the reckless direction, he noted: “We must realise that the moment when nothing can be changed any longer may come very quickly and unexpectedly for everyone. The logic of escalating, increasingly harsh retaliatory measures leads to a fatal point of no return.” The Russian leader is saying that the West’s relentless escalation in words and deeds is leading to an abyss. Incredibly, the Western politicians refuse to restrain themselves. “At the heart of this escalation lie arrogance and overconfidence… The spiral is tightening, and the devastating consequences are growing.” This appalling dynamic is redolent of the prelude to the First and Second World Wars, when Western political establishments were insouciant about the impending doom. But a Third World War is truly a point of no return. “All the more so today, when the arsenals of the world’s leading powers contain weapons capable of destroying all life or, at the very least, reducing the Earth to a catastrophic state,” Putin said. What is deplorable is the total propagandizing of public discussion in the West. Anyone who dares to speak about the objective historical causes that have given rise to the current tensions is censored or pilloried as a Russian stooge. There are eminent voices of sanity in the West, as noted above. But they are systematically excluded from public discourse by the mainstream media and academia. The public has to rely on alternative media sources for information. That has, thankfully, energized critical views among citizens in ever greater numbers, who are questioning the whole warmongering policy of inordinate military spending and weapons for Ukraine to fight a futile war against Russia. Notably, this week German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and NATO’s Mark Rutte were heckled and booed when they appeared in public in Muenster, Germany. Increasing numbers of people understand that we have been pushed to an existential crisis by Western governments (regimes) who took undemocratic, secret decisions to wage war against Russia years ago. As former British diplomat Ian Proud pointed out in an excellent podcast this week while attending the Sochi forum, the rulers in London made a conscious decision to go to war with Russia as far back as 2014, when the West sponsored the fascist coup in Kiev. Other Western figures, like former U.S. state planner Victoria Nuland and former NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg, have also admitted in their own words that NATO deliberately weaponized Ukraine after 2014 for the purpose of confronting Russia. This was before the hostilities erupted in Ukraine in February 2o22. Thus, the world has been pushed to a nuclear “extinction event” all because of Western policy to pursue confrontation with Russia, using Ukraine as a proxy. War is highly probable, but it is not inevitable. Western politicians and media, through their arrogance and Russophobia, are certainly doing their worst to make it inevitable. But these criminal elements may not prevail. There are international structures and laws; there is still diplomacy, albeit abused and trashed; perhaps more importantly, there is mass public opinion against the odious warmongers; and there is a burgeoning social and political uprising against the evidently bankrupt Western political system. The political elite in the West who are pimping for war may seem dominant, owing to apparently dominant media narratives. But their power is vastly overrated against the huge public opposition to their criminal agenda. History may rhyme, as with lead-ups to previous infamous wars. This time, however, a crucial difference is that there may be sufficient public awareness so as not to fall for the warmonger ruse of bailing out the rotten system. We are on the eve of destruction, but there is every sound hope that rather than war, the destruction tomorrow could be that of the Western imperialist system, thereby giving way to a truly better, more just and peaceful world. © 2010 - 2026 | Strategic Culture Foundation | Republishing is welcomed strategic-culture.su. So here we have former NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, admitting that the war did start in 2014. And from that same year, 2014, NATO has been busy training and arming the Ukraine armed forces. "Unprovoked" 😂😂

Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa are sliding towards all-out war, warns Mickael Minassie. It is a complex war with many players in a strategically vital region. But one factor is that the US and Europe have propped up a corrupt regime led by Nobel Peace Prize winner Abiy Ahmed, despite a peace accord signed in 2022. The BRICS have also played a dubious role, he notes. Millions of lives are at risk from violence and starvation if this situation explodes. youtube.com/watch?v=PEK227Ej…

Great thread here by @SMO_VZ on PUTIN at the VALDAI Club.
PUTIN at VALDAI 'Multipolar world CANNOT be bipolar, tripolar world, it must be DIVERSE' — Putin 'A world where someone’s security CANNOT be achieved at expense of anyone else’s security' 'US is following its OWN national interests, especially under President Trump' — Putin 'To put it mildly, look at pragmaticism of US decisions in terms of economic cooperation with Europe' ‘China always tries to solve issues through PEACEFUL MEANS’ — Putin ‘We see that in Chinese policy led by President Xi’ ‘One Belt One Road is aimed at expanding the zone of FREE COOPERATION’ 'US following their own interests; during Biden presidency, it was the INVERSE' — Putin 'Now, US is trying to stop conflict' while many European countries 'pioneering AGGRESSIVE behavior' 'Creating additional crises between Russian and Europe to give foundation to need to 'prepare for war'' 'Do you use ChatGPT and neural networks?' Putin smiles: 'I have use of the Russian Presidential Executive Office, and they intend to use everything that humanity has come up with' 'That is a force that CANNOT be crushed' ‼️🇷🇺 Putin Responded to the Proposal to "Dismantle" the European Union: "No need, they will fall apart on their own." ▪️The Western community, not the Russian Federation, is trying to erect a new Iron Curtain. ▪️Leading European countries are taking a more aggressive stance towards Russia than the United States. ▪️We are "only in favor" of organizing a trilateral meeting of the leaders of the United States, China, and Russia, but an agenda is needed. ▪️I am grateful to Trump for his efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. ▪️When the EU prohibits European countries from building relations with Russia, it is a dictate even harsher than that of the Soviet era. ▪️We are ready to start a dialogue with the EU or individual European countries without preconditions, but they should not have any preconditions either. ▪️Russia is not nationalizing foreign assets and is not stealing anything; to say so is a lie and a provocation. ▪️If events unfold favorably, the owners of assets that have come under external management will get them back. ▪️External management creates conditions for responding to a possible nationalization of Russian enterprises in the West. ▪️The world cannot be "bipolar," but only multipolar. ▪️The whole world admires the resilience of the Iranian people and the "large bench of reserves" in the Iranian leadership. ▪️A huge mistake was the assassination of the Secretary of the Iranian Security Council, Ali Larijani; — he advocated for compromises and would be needed now in finding mutually acceptable solutions to the Iranian issue. ▪️The possibility of a trilateral meeting at the APEC summit between the leaders of Russia, China, and the United States will largely depend on Xi Jinping as the host of the summit. ▪️Russia is grateful to the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, for her efforts to resolve humanitarian issues in Ukraine.
