Tkachuk - Looked extremely comfortable with Barkov and Reinhart in the preseason. Fired pucks and fit in seamlessly with 3G, 2A in 2 games - both against CAR.
Matthews - Looks motivated and more like his former self. See futures play write up for more.
Dorofeyev - Scoring ability + hockey IQ have already been on display. Trigger man on right side for PP1 and expected to carry the majority of the workload when it comes to scoring this year for NYR. Bostonβs PK also really struggled last year.
Draisaitl - Expected to play with McDavid at 5v5 against a Canucks team that he has tormented in the past. I think Vancouver has a tough season ahead with their current roster. Draisaitl started slow last year and this is the perfect matchup to make sure that isnβt the case this season.
