Our WarDogs vs. Battlefield Division right now:
Sad to see. I miss the days when Battlefield would have dozens of people on at 11am on a Friday.
#Battlefield definitely has some things to figure out.
We've all seen the "Battlefield Killers", I fear this one might actually be legit.
More than anything, they need to start listening to their player base and consultants. WarDogs seems to be doing a much better job of that right now.
Just to be clear… in my casual chat… this is what I actually said.
We chose to decrease the cost of development.. there were TWO options.. my point was basic economics..
“Self proclaimed ceo says games should cost more”… is once again a boring headline.
I’ve also said AAA games can’t keep under delivering on quality and charging $60 but nobody wrote an article about it.
I don’t know why they care what I have to say, I’m just another person whose game is popular right now… my words don’t mean anymore than anyone else’s other than when it comes to WARDOGS, and even then..
PSA: WARDOGS will be entering a maintenance window at 11:00 UTC, estimated to last around 1 hour.
Services will be offline while we deploy a small number of security updates. We’ll post again as soon as everything is back online and players can login.
Thanks for your patience.
I remember when Dexerto, IGN, PC Gamer, and Kotaku used to be respected resources for gaming news.
Now they are just the gaming industry’s version of TMZ.
Drama farming clickbait slop.
A bitter sweet feeling. We're of course very happy with this glowing 9/10 Gallipoli review by Seth Macy, but also saddened this is his final review on IGN.
Thank you Seth for still finishing this one, much love!
Check it out and be sure to support Seth in his future endeavors.
Here it is, my final IGN review. I did most of the rough editing, Patrick Coughlin finished it off. Please enjoy and share with everyone. piped.video/o4gXYB8bcLk?is=Xa72…
I’m not going to get into a public debate about this, or any other of these out of context articles. But here are the facts.
- No information says mandatory, they made this up
- 80% of the shares in Bulkhead are owned by 50% of the staff
- For 50% of development we ran a 4 DAY WORK WEEK…
- We gave everyone the entire month of December off
- We made a game you like and our staff will be rewarded for it accordingly
We made that choice, don’t take it out of context, watch the whole interview here to make up your own mind.
This is the other side of the honesty and transparency we have been commended for.

The linked PC Gamer article headline inaccurately frames the Wardogs CEO's interview comments as endorsing "mandatory crunch," a term not used; he said crunch is avoided when possible but expected at times with hires screened accordingly.
