International law requires that an asylum seeker make their claim at the first safe country they enter. Anyone entering the US from Mexico or Canada should have made their claim there or before that.

Of the 267,532 asylum requests in 2022 only 36,615 were granted. The same year, the Biden administration welcomed 2,760,000 illegal immigrants. Maybe more people should post this instead.
