Labour controlled Oxford council have decided to break the law. They claim single sex services and spaces are transphobic and women needing those spaces is just a “moral panic”. So that’s alright then. I hope the taxpayers of Oxford are prepared to pay.

#OTD 7 October 1920, women were finally admitted as full members of Oxford University. 130 women took part in the historic enrollment ceremony at the Divinity School.
Women had been studying and sitting examinations at Oxford since the late 1870s, but were barred from registering and receiving the degrees their results would otherwise have earned them.
A week later, on 14 October, Oxford held its first degree ceremony for women, with 50 women receiving ordinary degrees that day.
