Almost the entirety of the British Highstreet is now made up of 3 types of businesses:
1) Private Equity owned companies (Pizza Express, Burger King, Cafe Rouge, The Body Shop, Wagamamas, Zizzi, New Look, Bella Italia, Boots, WH Smith, etc)
2) Foreign owned businesses acting as fronts for skilled visa migrant scams and/or money laundering enterprises (Hairdressers, Kebab Shops, Vape Shops, etc)
3) Charity Shops. Largely in existence to sell off items left when people die.
It's difficult to imagine anything more dystopian than this.

You’ve don’t this by giving more money on the campaign appeals: economies of scale have meant that 2 x the money = 4 x the campaign.
That means these applications are taking longer to decide. Councils are getting the wind up and delaying decisions.

APPLICATION TO TURN GRADE II LISTED PUB INTO MOSQUE
Many people have asked me to help resist the planning application to turn the beautiful old Gatehouse Pub, in Dereham Road, Norwich, into a mosque.
The Gatehouse Pub is:
* Grade II listed with Historic England;
* Listed as an Asset of Community Value by Norwich City Council
* Partly in Flood Zone 3
* Proposed as part of a riverside walk section to complete the beautiful River Wensum Riverside Walk
* Designated by the Council as informal amenity open space
The building would be enlarged by 45% and might come to dominate the site area along this beautiful stretch of the river.
They say: "… Friday between 12.00 and 14.30 when approximately 100 - 150 worshippers could attend… it may be become operationally necessary to split the congregation on a Friday by holding two sessions instead of one…"
There would only be 24 parking spaces – not enough for so many worshippers in this sensitive area.

The “Republicans” were Bolsheviks. Stalin’s cutthroats in Spanish uniforms.

Franco’s men executed communist fighters. They did not industrialize rape, they did not harvest civilians for spectacle, they did not turn churches into abattoirs the way the Red side did.
The Rebels won.
Franco shut down the brothels that were trafficking women & children. He imposed order. Discipline. Prosperity. An era that actually felt like a country again instead of a slaughterhouse with a flag.
That’s the part they never want said out loud.
