🚨 BIG TECH SHOULD PAY ITS OWN WAY Georgia Power and Google have announced a new agreement aimed at having Google help pay for nuclear upgrades needed to meet their growing power demand. We must ensure this deal actually does what it is proclaimed to do. It will require PSC approval, so the PSC must ensure it actually forces Google to pay for its own impact on the power grid in full. The principle is simple: -Companies building massive data centers should pay for their own power AND the infrastructure upgrades that come with it. -Not one single dime of those additional costs should fall on everyday Georgia ratepayers. These big tech companies should not be a burden on Georgia citizens.

🚨 Voters Deserve More Information, Not Less! GAFC Chairwoman Rep. Charlice Byrd recently spoke with the Georgia Recorder about a measure making certain elections “nonpartisan.” Making these elections “nonpartisan” doesn’t make candidates suddenly less ideological, it just takes information away from voters and helps elect radical leftists under a cloak of darkness. Individual jurisdictions can make this decision; the state should stay out of it. Georgians deserve MORE transparency at the ballot box, not less.

🚨 BREAKING: Rep. Charlice Byrd Calls for Transparency and Accountability in Georgia’s Foster Care System Georgia entered FY 2026 facing a projected $85.7 MILLION foster care deficit. Georgians deserve to know why. Throwing another $82 million at the problem without addressing the underlying failures is not a long-term solution. Rep. Charlice Byrd, Chairwoman of the Georgia Freedom Caucus, is calling for a transparent examination of where these dollars are going, including costly hotel placements, out-of-county care, transportation, emergency staffing, and placement disruptions. Priority #1: The Needs of the Children We must address these critical issues so that we can ensure Georgia’s foster children are given the care they deserve. It’s time to get it done.

🚨 KEISHA LANCE BOTTOMS FLIP FLOP? As the disgraced former Mayor of Atlanta, Bottoms chaired the board that approved financing for a data center with up to $440 million in bonds and a 15-year property tax abatement. Keisha Lance Bottoms has a history of forcing Georgians to subsidize data centers with their hard-earned dollars. Now, because it is convenient, she is pretending to oppose such developments. Yet, her record tells a different story. Georgians are sick of politicians like Keisha Lance Bottoms who say one thing and do another. Georgia deserves a Governor who can't be bought, who doesn't change with the wind, and who Georgians can count on to tell the truth.

🚨 EFFINGHAM COUNTY DATA CENTER Following public outrage, one of the Effingham County Commissioners, who has supported the new data center, said during this week's commission meeting, "I should have done something different," when referring to the county secretly working behind the scenes to build a massive data center. Residents are, of course, concerned about public infrastructure being able to handle it and the effect it will have on the community. Despite the county manager saying, "this would not require a tremendous amount of water for cooling the data center," a University of Georgia analysis says it will take at least 57 million gallons of water per day to power and cool the data center. Secretive deals like this are wrong. What is also quite problematic, however, is that it seems clear the county is not prepared for the impact this data center could have on public infrastructure. If a data center is going to be constructed, the public infrastructure should be required to exist prior to the building thereof. The residents should not be forced to suffer for a lack of planning, nor should they be forced to subsidize this trillion dollar company while dealing with the residual effects of Bidenflation. These commissioners are receiving a lot of anger from their constituents for this decision. All elected officials throughout the state should take note.

🚨 ELECTION INTEGRITY Even the liberal media is reporting that official government documents show, with "high confidence," that illegal aliens voted in Georgia. Even if that number is small, or did not make the difference statewide, it is a matter that must be addressed. Weaknesses in the integrity of the process brings into question the entire process itself. Any single illegal vote cancels out the vote of an American citizen. We need stronger protections to ensure that only citizens can vote in Georgia. Congress could greatly help secure our elections by passing the SAVE America Act, but it is incumbent on the Georgia legislature to take all possible steps to ensure our process is secure. It is time for action!

🚨 ALERT: Georgia is projected to provide nearly $3 BILLION in sales-tax exemptions for data centers next year. While Georgians grapple with residual Bidenflation, they should not be forced to subsidize some of the world's wealthiest companies. We must ensure that communities are protected. We also must stop forcing Georgians to subsidize data centers. If any data center goes up, it should, at the very least, pay the full amount of taxes that any other entity would be required to pay. It should also fund its own power and not be a burden on the water supply. It is time to focus on protecting the citizenry's way of life, above any other corporate interest.

🚨 Sheriff Changes Stance on Flock Cameras After Backlash This is notice to the public that your voice works. If you speak up and let your elected officials know your thoughts, they will listen. You are the boss. We echo calls for the General Assembly to rein in Flock Cameras, and adjacent technologies. As technology progresses, we must ensure the rights of the people don't evaporate. This should be a top priority next legislative session.

🚨 ALERT: The Georgia Supreme Court has reaffirmed that Georgians have a constitutional right to privacy. This comes at a time when multiple individuals have been arrested or fired for misusing FLOCK license plate cameras to track people's movements. When technology changes, our natural rights from God remain the same. This case puts any entity using FLOCK cameras on notice. Georgians have a substantive right to privacy. The legislature must place guardrails on this type of surveillance, or we risk falling into an Orwellian existence.

🚨 Georgia has roughly 81 proposed new data centers. The projects that have publicly disclosed their power needs alone are seeking about 16 GW of electricity. A recent report noted that this is already more than the roughly 14 GW of new generation Georgia Power is currently authorized to add. And most proposed projects still haven't publicly disclosed how much power they'll consume. The people deserve to be represented before corporate interests. We must end the cronyism and put Georgians first. How will this effect utility availability and costs? These questions should be answered before projects are allowed to commence.

The DOJ sent Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger a letter this week to inform him, along with other local election officials, that they are expected to follow federal law in conducting the 2026 election. The DOJ has demanded that they take steps to comply with federal law and ensure that only citizens vote in our elections. While the U.S. Senate needs to stop holding up the SAVE America Act, Georgia shouldn't wait. It is time to secure our election and ensure Georgians can have confidence that the results match their intentions. We call on Secretary Raffensperger to take all necessary steps to comply with the demands of the DOJ's letter.

Great idea. Why on earth is ANY state in America issuing birth certificates to non-citizens? If illegal aliens want a birth certificate for their child, they should return to their home country and obtain one there the proper way. Stop defrauding the United States!
