🔥 GET UP There are seasons when faith looks like standing on a mountaintop praising God. And then there are seasons when faith looks like lying in the dirt, exhausted, bruised, wondering whether you have enough strength to take one more step. Maybe you’ve fallen. Maybe you’ve failed. Maybe somebody wounded you. Maybe you’ve disappointed yourself. Maybe you’ve been fighting the same battle so long that staying down feels easier than getting back up. But Scripture says: “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…” — Proverbs 24:16 KJV Notice what Scripture doesn’t say. The righteous never fall. It says they rise again. Your fall doesn’t have to become your identity. Your failure doesn’t have to become your address. Your worst chapter doesn’t get permission to write the ending. Sometimes the enemy doesn’t need to destroy you. He simply needs to convince you that because you fell, you should stay there. But grace says: GET UP. You messed up? Repent. GET UP. You’re exhausted? Rest in Jesus. Then GET UP. Your heart got broken? Let Him heal it. Then GET UP. Yesterday didn’t go the way you prayed? His mercies are new this morning. GET UP. Getting up doesn’t mean pretending you’re not hurting. It doesn’t mean denying what happened. And it doesn’t mean pulling yourself together through sheer willpower. Sometimes getting up means whispering, “Jesus, I can’t do this without You.” And discovering that was exactly the prayer you needed. Peter fell. David fell. Elijah became exhausted. Thomas doubted. The disciples scattered. Yet God continued writing their stories. And He’s still writing yours. The scars you carry aren’t necessarily evidence that you’ve lost. Sometimes they’re evidence that you survived long enough for God to begin rebuilding you. So don’t confuse being knocked down with being defeated. Don’t build a home in a place God only intended you to pass through. Don’t let shame keep you lying beside something Jesus has already forgiven. Take His hand. Plant your feet. Lift your head. And even if your knees are shaking— GET. BACK. UP. You don’t need enough strength for the entire journey today. You only need enough faith to take the next step with Jesus. FALL SEVEN TIMES. RISE EIGHT. GRACE IS STILL HERE. GOD ISN’T FINISHED. 🔥 GET UP. ✝️ ❓ QUESTION OF THE DAY Where have you allowed a setback to convince you that your story is over? Maybe God isn’t asking you to understand everything today. Maybe He’s simply asking you to stop calling the ground home. What would getting up look like today? One prayer? One apology? One phone call? Opening your Bible again? Walking away from something? Trying again? Whatever it is— Take the next step. 🙏 PRAYER Father, You know where I’ve fallen and where I’m tired of fighting. When shame tells me to stay down, remind me that Your grace is greater than my failure. Give me strength for the next step—not through my own power, but through Yours. Heal what is wounded. Forgive what needs forgiving. Restore what has been broken. And when I don’t have the strength to stand alone, remind me that Your hand is already reaching for mine. Today I choose to rise. Not because I’m undefeated— but because Jesus is. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🔥✝️
