📍 Pacific, Clipperton Atoll | Flying the French flag   ⚔️ A frigate continues its sovereignty mission on Clipperton Atoll.   🎯 The French armed forces are present throughout the French exclusive economic zone. This regular presence contributes to the protection of these sites and the natural resources they hold.

📍 Poland | FEARLESS EAGLE: 🇫🇷 aviators engaged alongside our Polish and Spanish allies 🇵🇱   In 🇵🇱, the French Air and Space Force is deploying 3 Rafale fighters alongside 🇵🇱 fighter jets and a 🇪🇸 transport aircraft, as well as a reconnaissance detachment integrated into a Polish brigade.   ✈️ Flying in accordance with the Agile Combat Employment concept (NATO’s reactive and agile air power employment doctrine), they are contributing to:   1️⃣ The Alliance’s defensive and deterrent posture, by demonstrating the reliability of our collective defense system and its responsiveness in defending NATO’s airspace;   2️⃣ Maintaining our ability to command and synchronize operations across the air, land, cyber, and space domains;   3️⃣ Allied air combat effectiveness, from target acquisition to tracking and the execution of precision air-to-ground strikes;   4️⃣ The employment flexibility of our aircraft, which are capable of operating from an allied base, using secondary airports.   NATO Europeans: stronger, together.

📍 South Korea | PEGASE 2026 🇫🇷🇰🇷 ✈️ After Japan, the PEGASE 2026 mission is making a stop in South Korea, at the heart of a deployment spanning the entire Indo-Pacific region. 🌐 Strengthening a strategic partnership. Built on a historical bond, Franco-Korean cooperation relies on reciprocal expertise in cutting-edge fields, particularly counter-drone operations and space cooperation. This stop is further consolidating a partnership already proven during regional exercises (CROIX DU SUD, ADEX, KADEX). 🌍 Through a major deployment such as PEGASE, the French Air and Space Force contributes to keeping the Indian Ocean and the Pacific as open spaces, in accordance with international law and the principle of sovereignty.

📍 Mediterranean | United in strength in the Eastern Mediterranean: MEDUSA exercise   A 🇫🇷 frigate took part in the MEDUSA naval exercise, jointly organized by Greece and Egypt off the coast of Crete. A week of intensive maneuvers alongside 🇬🇷, 🇨🇾, 🇮🇹, and 🇪🇬 vessels.   🎯 Objectives: To strengthen tactical cooperation and ties among the region's navies.   🌍 In the Eastern Mediterranean, French armed forces stand firmly by its allies. This exercise demonstrates our ability to operate as a combined force and reflects the solidarity of Europe and its allies working together for regional security and stability.

📍 Japan | New stop for PEGASE 26 🗾   🇫🇷 aviators from the PEGASE mission were welcomed by 🇯🇵 aviators upon their arrival at Hyakuri Air Base.   Within a multilateral approach, the French armed forces maintain first-class strategic partnerships in the Indo-Pacific, which major deployments such as PEGASE reinforce. Cooperation with Japan, diversified and dynamic, is based on a convergence of common strategic interests and is illustrated by a reciprocal sharing of expertise in high-end domains, notably in space.   🤝 This stage marks the strengthening of 🇫🇷🇯🇵 cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region: a solid alliance looking to the future.

📍 French Guiana | Asserting France's and Europe's space sovereignty by contributing to the security of access to space,   🚀 New successful VEGA-C launch carried out from the @EuropeSpacePort. The Armed forces in French Guiana have once again been committed to the security of the operation:   ⚔️ Land, air, sea: a multi-domain protection is set up around every launch. This operational network complements that of the domestic security forces.   🪐 From Kourou, France and its European allies show their determination to act for the mastery of exo-atmospheric space. As a conflict field, space sees military and civil assets coexist. French forces contribute to the establishment of this space power, launch after launch.

📍 Gabon | Three training programs, one common goal: training to strengthen   French military trainers are deployed alongside our 🇬🇦 partners.   🌿 1. Hardening for forest environments: Gabonese are training in forest combat, marksmanship and biodiversity protection. Objective: to equip them with the skills of future section leaders.   🏙️ 2. Trained to train: Gabonese military officers are receiving training in urban combat, including drones, which they will then pass on to their comrades.   🪂 3. Mastering the jungle: French instructors are supporting the training of new paratrooper recruits by adapting the training to the rigour of the environment.   🤝 French and Gabonese trainers are jointly building each module to address challenges that concern both countries: fighting illicit trafficking, security, environmental protection and adapting to climate change.

📍 Netherlands | Above 🇳🇱, the Alliance springs into action 🪂   🪂 Paratroopers from 11 nations leap from the sky to train in airbone operations. The FALCON LEAP exercise is a great opportunity to train troopers and freight drops as well as allied cooperation, from air to land 🤝.   🎯 The goal is to ensure a high level of operationnal readiness between allies and a common action capability, taking each corps' needs, constraints and modes of operation into account.   🛡️ France is fully engaged alongside its NATO allies for the collective defense of Europe. Here and there on the continent, our security is built on cohesion.

📍 Lebanon | Enhance capabilities, supporting autonomy: French and Lebanese armed forces hand in hand 🇫🇷🇱🇧   In Lebanon, the 🇫🇷 Operational Military Partnership Detachment (DPMO) leads training courses with the Lebanese Armed Forces in various fields: 🩺 combat healthcare 🏙️ urban combat 🛩️ use of reconnaissance drones.   🎯 These training courses aim to deepen and impart concrete skills to strengthen the operational autonomy of the Lebanese armed forces   🤝 Work together for lasting stability and sovereign security on the Lebanese territory.

📍 Romania | CORONAT MASK: NATO Allies train to counter chemical and biological threats   ➡️ Training between 🇷🇴🇭🇺🇪🇸🇫🇷 soldiers, including CBRN* specialists from the NATO Battlegroup Romania.   Strict application of established protocols:   1️⃣ Detection & Identification: collection of samples and threat identification by an assessment team.   2️⃣ Decontamination: deployment of full decontamination lines (for vehicles and personnel) by Hungarian and French units.   3️⃣ Analysis: secure transportation of samples to a laboratory.   🛡️ Concrete cooperation among NATO Allies is an area of expertise, strengthening our ability for rapid and coordinated response to various threats to the defence of Europe’s eastern flank.   *Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN)

📍 Greenland | 🇫🇷🇩🇰🇸🇪 act for the defensive posture of the Alliance in the North by operating in the Arctic area   🪂 French soldiers are deployed in the Narsarsuaq region (Greenland) and take part to the ARCTIC SHIELD 26 exercise.   🤝 Objectives: ✅ Exchange between allies on the tactics and equipments, including drones  ✅ Train adaptability and resilience in difficult conditions ✅ Demonstrate the Alliance's determination to defend its territory in the face of threats.   🧊 The Arctic area is a space of growing strategic interest. Within ARCTIC SHIELD, as part of NATO's enhanced vigilance activity ARCTIC SENTRY, France and its EU and NATO partners strenghten their bonds.   🛡️ Stronger together for the defence of NATO's territory.

📍 Baltic countries | Large-scale training for the NATO Joint tactical attack controllers (JTAC): FURIOUS WOLF 26 exercise 🐺   ✈️ Multiple close air support sequences with 🇹🇷🇮🇹 aircrafts and land troops from 🇫🇷🇩🇪🇪🇸🇱🇻🇱🇹🇮🇹🇭🇷, as well as a 3D simulator. 🎯 Enhance the ability of the JTAC from NATO countries to operate together for targetting in a realistic operational context.   🛡️ This high-level training directly contributes to the defensive and dissuasive posture on NATO's Eastern flank.
