The nationwide abortion pill push is killing HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of unborn lives every single year. Mail-order abortion allows these pills to cross state lines, undermining state pro-life laws and increasing the nationwide abortion rate. This has to change.
New FDA leadership will play a critical role in the future of banning the abortion pill, with President Trump’s nomination of Dr. Heidi Overton at the center of discussion.
To get answers, dozens of pro-life leaders from across the country called on Dr. Overton to address her position on the FDA’s handling of mifepristone and the dismantling of Biden-era deregulations. @ColeMuzio, President of Frontline Policy Action, signed onto the letter.
However, Dr. Overton’s responses in her hearing did little to clear the waters, and the future of the abortion pill under her leadership remains uncertain.
To take action, contact your elected officials in Congress and tell them to increase regulations for this dangerous drug. Link to sign the petition is in the comments.

Another lesson is how much libertarianism managed to disguise itself as conservatism. A smaller state and lower taxes are always desirable, but the claim that government cannot be used to advance substantive moral goods is a long-peddled libertarian fiction. If public policy can incentivize single parenthood and lifelong government dependency, as much of the current system does, then there is no principled reason existing funds cannot be reallocated to strengthen marriage, encourage family formation, and promote healthier social arrangements.
But hey, maybe we should just listen to the libertarians and encourage more gambling and porn use instead. Because muh freedum matters most!
If I understand the establishment conservatives correctly, we should not reform a 30-year-old entitlement program to stop incentivizing single parenthood because it would be better abolish the entire 91-year-old welfare state, which no one even pretends to think is possible.

That is riot gear covering the marble floor of the Capitol Rotunda.
Law enforcement was preparing to defend our Capitol as Atlanta descended into chaos.
Hours earlier, left-wing rioters had shut down the Downtown Connector, smashed windows and burned a Wendy’s to the ground. Firefighters struggled to safely reach the fire. Atlanta’s police chief had resigned.
And this was the scene inside our State Capitol.
For generations, Georgia’s Capitol stood without a permanent security fence.
Then came one term of Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Today, an eight-foot steel security fence surrounds the Capitol—a lasting reminder of those dark days.
People forget how bad it got.
I don’t.
