The new version adds new face controls, IK fingers, arbitrary IK pivots, and updated shaders.

Auto-Rig Pro's game export tools are so good that justifies using it for that alone.
However, in literally every other case, you should be using Rigify. It has every tool an animator could possibly want.
slowly realizing rigify is way better than autorigpro after making arp rigs for every single character I've used until now
