One more #ThrowbackThursday - my only living child in 11/69 (about 7 mos. old) and both of us observing the falls at The Devil's Hopyard State Park in Connecticut. It was a good place to find wild Bittersweet plants for dried bouquets and wreathes, especially pinecone ones.
For #ThrowbackThursday - me getting engaged in the early 1960s at the Chicago Bismark Hotel; 30 years later me & my One True Love (also 30 years ago) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. [not the same guy]
At first there was apprehension
Coupled with a little tension
But then we got close
Dancing nose-to-nose
Then did things I will not mention

Seems the right time to bring out Mama's little patriotic tribute. I remember that day in 1976 so very well - went to Cape Canaveral & watched the simulated Apollo(?) blast-off. Also saw first holograms in an excellent demo of how they are created. What happened to holos?
We were so excited by the Fourth of July coming up, I almost forgot today starts another new month - another one! Can you believe it? #HappyJuly y'all!
It's a rolicking #Wednesday as we get over the top and slide into a long Independence Day weekend. The #Cats are already working on a wonderful celebration!
