A grooming gang survivor says that she and her five children face homelessness after being forced, she says, to flee their home because she fears for their safety. Fiona Goddard was raped and sexually assaulted as a teenager by a group of men in Bradford. One of her attackers was released in August after serving half his sentence. Fiona says she's being harassed and has been sent intimidating messages which the police are investigating. She and her children are currently staying in emergency accommodation until the end of the month.

Protesters who blockaded a road in Portadown to stop a contentious loyal order parade have mostly dispersed after being told by a community leader that a fresh process to address the dispute was being initiated. Overcrowding in A&E departments and corridor care is linked to hundreds of deaths every week in the UK, according to a new study. A review of more than 19,000 adult patients found that, for every 10% increase in emergency department occupancy, the chance of dying in the following 28 days rose by 1%. The work was carried out at 134 A&Es in Wales, Northern Ireland and England last year, and was presented at the European Emergency Medicine Congress in France.

The RAC has told Good Morning Britain that the UK could hit the highest ever pump price for diesel on Friday and warned that prices will keep rising while global instability continues.
