A Church that will not act canonically cannot claim to be the canonical Church: the breaking of the Holy Canons is not canonical, the setting aside of the decrees of the Ecumenical Councils is not canonical, and the contradiction of the teaching of Holy Scriptures is not canonical. Just because you say the Patriarchs are canonical does not make them canonical.
