One Redshift light is easy. Five lights? Now you're hunting through the Object Manager. Redshift Light Manager puts your entire setup in one panel so you can adjust, solo, compare, and aim lights without digging through your scene. 🔗 Explore Redshift Light Manager: ow.ly/Yezu50ZQfWZ

If you want a clean cut of light, don't keep fighting the falloff. Snoot is a lighting hood for Cinema 4D area lights that gives you control over exactly where the light goes. Adjust the length, radius, and shape. Drag the four viewport handles. Change the light size and Snoot follows along. It works natively with Redshift, Arnold, and Octane, including quad and disk lights. 🔗 Explore Snoot: ow.ly/GYyS50ZOoyl

Where luxury meets industry. @BG_Studios created this RIMOWA product film in Cinema 4D and Redshift, building out the environment with KitBash3D Kits and Greyscalegorilla HDRIs. Arch Vogue, Lights Camera Action, Cyberpunk Interiors, and DieselPunk all make an appearance, with light maps adding detail and control to the final shots. 💡 Artist tip: A strong product shot isn't just about the product. Give the camera, environment, and lighting enough to do some storytelling too.

When your brain is running at 40% but you still have a render to light. 😂 In Episode 6 of Behind the Render, @cgpov and @nickvegas dig into practical lighting in Cinema 4D and Redshift, explore the new Office Desk Models in Cargo, and troubleshoot a lighting setup in real time. There are actual techniques to learn. There are also several moments where we collectively question whether Chad has lost his mind. Both are worth watching. 🎬 Watch the full episode: ow.ly/r56M50ZO5pX

A little camera drift goes a long way. For "Non Sequitur Graphics", @2d_pete used Signal to drive the motion, with dynamics taking over much of the animation. He also used GorillaCam to create subtle camera drift that would have been difficult to build manually. Artist tip: A little imperfection in your camera movement can make procedural animation feel much more natural. Made in Cinema 4D, Redshift, and After Effects.

One phone. Three perspectives. 📱 @Nickel_3D rendered the Nothing Phone 4(a) in Blender + Cycles, using different focal lengths to give each shot a distinct feel. 💡 Artist tip: change your camera before changing your lighting. A new focal length can completely change a product render.

Your desk. Your setup. Your scene. The Office Desk Models are made to mix and match, not just with each other, but with the rest of the Cargo library. Start with a desk set, swap out the details, bring in other assets, change the materials, and build a setup that fits your project. 🔥 These assets play well with Wood Wall Panels, gobos, and Apartment Interiors.

A plain rounded form doesn't give you much to work with. No edges, no details, no obvious place for the light to land. @ADRNMA_ uses a technique she calls “the zebra,” layering six lights to create alternating bands of dark and bright reflection across the surface. The result is a simple form with a lot more visual movement. Swipe through to see how each light builds the final look.

Only want to see the library you actually use? Now you can. Cargo’s Library Filter lets you quickly switch between your KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla libraries, so you can focus on the assets you have access to. Even better, Cargo remembers your choice the next time you open it. @cgpov walks through how it works. See what else we've been improving in Cargo in the Product Updates: ow.ly/Jonw50ZHiIA

A luxury garage needs good lighting. Prajwal Kumar combined modern interior architecture with classic automotive design in this Cinema 4D + Redshift scene. He used the Wave Tile Concrete material as a starting point, then positioned directional sunlight to rake across the wall and reveal its texture while highlighting the car. Inside, the furniture models bring warmth and contrast to the space. 💡 Try this: If a material feels flat, change the direction of the light before changing the material. Sometimes the texture isn't the problem. The light is. #cinema4d #redshift #3Drendering #archviz #greyscalegorilla

Plot twist: Nick is back on Mac 🍎👀 Years ago, @nickvegas made the jump from Mac to PC for GPU rendering. Now he's back on Mac, @cgpov has joined the Apple world, and the two of them are comparing notes on what actually works for their 3D workflows today. The best part? Seeing longtime viewers in the comments who remember the whole journey. Turns out, the Mac vs. PC debate has been going on for a while. 😂 What's your setup? Mac, PC, or a little bit of both? 👇 🔗 Join the conversation and watch the full episode: ow.ly/LveU50ZFnf5

Building an office scene doesn’t have to be a full-time job. The new Office Desk Models give you options: individual assets for building a completely custom setup OR 4 curated desk sets that can be dropped straight into a scene and customized from there. So when you don’t have time to build your scene from scratch, skip straight to the finished look. 👉ow.ly/JOqc50ZCrP7
