💔 Liza Prykhodko was two years old. She was holding a toy car in her hand. Her mother had just taken out a plate to feed her soup. Liza was one meter away. Then a russian missile hit. There was no air raid alert. The missile struck the loggia, pierced the first floor and flew into the basement. Four apartments were lifted into the air. Liza was found dead under the rubble at 3 a.m. Liza seemed to be in a hurry to live. At two, she already held a pen and pencil properly, knew her colors, loved drawing, hugs and toy cars. After February 24, 2022, her mother Nataliia and Liza left for Bulgaria. Liza was only one year and two weeks old when she took her first steps there. They stayed for four months, missing Liza’s father, Vladyslav, and returned home in the summer. At home, they were always ready to run to the basement when the siren sounded. But that night, there was no warning... Vladyslav helped search through the rubble. Nataliia was rescued alive and spent two months in hospital, relearning how to eat and walk. When she woke after a long time under anesthesia, she asked where her daughter was. The doctors didn’t tell her. Liza was buried on the 7th. Vladyslav told Nataliia on the 9th. He entered her hospital room in tears, removed her oxygen mask, knelt down and said: “I couldn’t protect our daughter. I will never forgive myself.” Forty days after losing Liza, Nataliia went to her daughter’s grave in a wheelchair. “We miss our Lizochka so much. They simply tore our soul out.” A two-year-old girl.
