This year, nearly 14,000 New Yorkers saved millions of dollars in fees by filing their taxes for free with Direct File.
New York is proud to be one of the first states to offer this tool, and we’re working to expand the program so we can save even more taxpayers money next year!
Our Administration is expanding the Direct File program that enables taxpayers to file taxes for free directly with the IRS.
We’re calling on all 50 states and D.C. to join us in saving money for taxpayers across the country by participating in Direct File next year.
