I can’t believe it’s been 25 years. I’ve always been fascinated with the World Trade Center even when it was around, and going up to the top was a great experience of my youth. Ever since 9/11, the whole day has become a rather intense interest of mine. Need to visit again.

I really want to visit the 9/11 Memorial and museum. I am so interested in stories of both the survivors and the victims. I really hope we can come together again like we did after that day, but I hope we don’t need something like 9/11 to do it.

I've seen people say that Gen AI is a tool. NO. Things like Photoshop, Blender, etc etc are tools used by artists. With Gen AI, the AI is the "artist". You're just the plebe commissioning the piece. I can't imagine anyone being proud of something they came up with using Gen AI.

That Kirby Breath of the Wild game might be cool. The Metroid game reminds me very much of that ugly 3DS 2D Metroid which I didn't care for. So much parrying. People love that I guess?

Finally got around to watching the GTA 6 thing on Netflix of all places (WTF?). Looks like a GTA game to me. I tried to find something to complain about but can't really. Maybe some dropped frames but whatever. I'll be playing for sure, looks dope. Played the hell out of part 5.

“You never owned your games” is a dishonest way to frame this. We never owned the copyright. Obviously. But when I bought a PS4 game, I owned that copy. I could play it forever, lend it to a friend, sell it, or give it to my kid 30 years later. Digital storefronts take those rights away while continuing to use words like “BUY” and “PURCHASE.” If what I’m paying $100 for is actually a temporary license, call it that. Use a word like RENT at check out. Losing physical media is losing the ability to own a copy of our games in any form.

At a restaurant when my order was called, they pronounced my name as "Joey", not knowing the E is silent. My first thought was that this girl will never be able to pronounce TATE MODE properly, but she'll probably do OK with BlazBlue... well at least the first half of it.

Am I the only one who's getting tired of how self-aware writing in shows/movies based on popular franchises tends to be these days? Sparingly it's fine, but it's never used sparingly. The writers NEED to constantly let you know that they're fans of the franchise.

YouTube will count views from the first frame across all formats starting on August 24, 2026.
Last year, we updated how we count public views for Shorts to better capture how viewers watch on YouTube. Now, we’re aligning all other video formats to this same standard for consistency across the platform. Beginning on 8/24/2026, a view will be counted the moment a video begins to play—from the very first frame. This standard will now apply globally across all formats. Historically, we’ve used multiple view counting systems across different formats. However, we’ve heard that creators want to eliminate this metric confusion and accurately understand their true exposure, which is why we’re making this update!
