Gamekeeper, married with 3 little ones, love my family, countryside, all things gamekeeping. Working on #GreyPartridge recovery on our estate #PurdeyAwardWinner
A big thx to Ben and team @Gamekeeper10 at Godmersham, John @Sandwichbirdobs & @andrefarrar for a superb morning for our east kent downs farmers learning all about barn owl conservation & showcasing the farm's impressive work for breeding lapwing, turtle dove, grey part &more🦉
We had a great day at #LivingLand yesterday. We gave a bird box to more than 50 schools whilst engaging with the 2,800 children about woodland management. Thanks to @Gamekeeper10 for joining us and East Kent Timber for supplying the wood for all those bird boxes.

More great news from @stourvalleygame on #greypartridge numbers, I’m very jealous on the numbers he’s seen today on @robsfarm67 and hopefully more when beans are off 🤞
This is amazing news for our local population of greys
Farms and estates doing their best for wildlife 🥳
Starting to see a few broods of #greypartridge some good reports of bigger numbers throughout the valley.
Just a few years ago we didn’t have any greys in the area, but now most farms/estates around us have some.

Aren’t road side food bins a delight this time of year
Surely everyone is just a mass of maggots
I’ve just poured boiling water over mine, so now the bin men have a lovely maggot soup 🤢🤣
Sorry guys
Oops another one 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Haven’t checked his papers, but could be related to my old boy Jay 🤞
Not a young boy, but he knows the job, hopefully he’ll enjoy the second half of his life with us
Son no1 picked up a new air rifle from @TheGameFair Bargain @ £300 including scope and accessories, nice starter air rifle for him 👍
Squirrels are going to be in trouble 🤞
Going to set him up with a couple of feeding areas, should keep him busy for the summer 😊
Curlew are FOUR times more likely to fledge young on a Grouse Moor
(pop's between 4&9 breeding pairs exist in a single 1km)
If we BanGrouseShooting rather than continue with reforming it then it not just the guns we wave bye bye to

When you take your boots off and a massive spider crawls out 🤯
Thank goodness I live in the uk
Might not be doing so well if I was in Oz 😬🤣
How it was still alive 🤷🏻♂️ I wouldn’t want to be inside my work boots 🤣
Shoot bbq today, great to catch up with so many out of season.
Social side is important to so many who help out on shoots, it’s not just about shooting, it’s about so much more 👍
Sorry it’s a short video, @dylanlaing3 started to p around and I forgot to do another 🤦🏻♂️🤣
A few Grey Partridge chicks in today, happy finding a few ants and any other insects in the grass.
I like to start all my chicks on grass before adding cardboard bedding at about 5 - 6 days, stops them trying to eat the bedding and hopefully gives them a bit more natural start
