On September 11, while my foundation team was in NYC serving food to first responders and families, it was was my honor to spend some time with an incredible group of firefighters in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
My team and I served lunch to the firefighters attending our second annual Firefighter Training, thanking them for the work they do every day to keep their communities safe. We also presented each of the 100 firefighters with a rescue sling and all 44 departments represented with a thermal imager, with hands-on training throughout the weekend.
On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I was grateful for the opportunity to serve those who serve us. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Murfreesboro, and God bless our first responders!

Incredible performance from my pal John of his hit song Superman. 25 years ago, he performed the song at the Concert for New York City. The concert raised 35 million for families and first responders directly impacted by the terrorist attack in NYC. Never Forget.
Under the glow of the Tribute in Light, @JohnOndrasik performed “Superman,” a song that has come to symbolize courage, sacrifice, and the strength to carry on.
His performance was part of a night of music and remembrance marking 25 years since 9/11, bringing together artists, survivors, families, and people across the country to reflect on the lives and legacies of those we lost. As the beams illuminated the New York City skyline, Ondrasik joined Cyndi Lauper and Lainey Wilson in a powerful evening of reflection, honoring the sacrifice, resilience, and service that continue to shape how we remember September 11.

Honored to have Patricia Horoho as a member of the board of directors of the Gary Sinise Foundation. A great American and great friend who was serving at the Pentagon 25years ago.
On the morning of September 11th, 2001, Lieutenant Colonel Patricia Horoho, stationed at the Pentagon, ran toward the smoke and fire, becoming one of the first to reach the scene. Treating the wounded with only a medic’s backpack and a borrowed belt used as a tourniquet - her training as a clinical trauma nurse saved countless lives that day. "This tragedy united us in so many ways our enemy would never understand."
25 years later, LTG (ret.) Horoho continues to honor the spirit of service, sacrifice, and unity that emerged that day. We honor the 184 lives lost at the Pentagon and on Flight 77.

In Boston today to visit the firehouse of our Gary Sinise Foundation friend, fallen firefighter Bobby (BK) Kilduff. Served food to some of our heroes and their families.
BK dedicated his life to serving others, and it was very special to spend time with the men and women who knew and loved him and who continue that tradition of service every day.
Always grateful for the opportunity to say thank you to our first responders and their families. God bless you all.
