The bad news is the rush defenses get better, not worse from here. And that starts next week. South Carolina doesn’t do very much well, but they do stop the run… and then it’s Texas and Georgia.
The even worse news is that Florida’s secondary is going the wrong way. Trinidad Chambliss going off is one thing. Austin Simmons slicing you up for a million yards is quite another. You can maybe point to Thornton being out as partly responsible, but this secondary is regressing. And fast.
