You'd be entirely justified in responding to this hugely public attack, using the same platform. I've had horrible bosses in the past, but even they wouldn't have done this. It's beyond the pale.

Can we take a step back and just consider how it feels, as a dedicated, professional software engineer, to have your boss go on Twitter and put on blast how much they hate the thing that you spent years working on to improve. W/o context. After just a few days of being in charge.
