I had friends that asked me " Why does it feel like you aren't putting effort in your art anymore?" Because that's the truth. I'm not. Why? Because in the past, I find myself spending days to even weeks to finish an art piece that I'm proud of, only for it to not get much views. Digital art is my pride and joy but it takes too much time. Nowadays I'm too busy to take that much time for art and it gives me a burnt out. And I'm also dealing with a hard time irl as we speak. With the combos, I decided to go with traditional art which takes me few hours to finish. Is the rendering lacking? Of course. But I seem to notice that my traditional has more views than Digital. I am aware the platform runs alot with consistent posting and algorithms which I would not be able to achieve if I continue doing digital only. So until I'm less burnt out, I am only doing digitally in special occasions. Even if its not my best potential, it keeps me happy that I can keep drawing all my imagination without letting me be stuck in my head wondering if I am good enough. Of course alot of artists face this problem of self doubt. But for me, I decided to stop trying to be the best and do what I want instead
