Mona, a member of the Federation of the Blind, gave amazing testimony yesterday about @Tesla’s Cybercab after sitting in it this week:
"To have something like the Cybercab would be very beneficial to us as the blind community; It’s got Braille in there. Nobody else has Braille. This would be so beneficial. The app is wonderful. There’s space to put the wheelchair. They can just push themselves right in. A lot of times, the Uber and Lyft if they see you with a dog or cane, they drive right past you. With Cybercab, it doesn't know that you're blind. It doesn't know that you're in a wheelchair. It just knows that you need a ride, so I completely love the car. Just sitting in it, how comfortable it is, just knowing something is accessible - it’s the most amazing thing out there."

My 10 year old son and I just went for a haircut. As I am sitting there, getting the hair trimmed around my bald spot, I thought to myself, there is no reason why a 10 year old should be paying £2 less than a 56 year old. It makes no sense. Like a barber version of a kids meal.

My son is doing some courses on @khanacademy. I'm trying to get him used to learning from home while he still attends school. He's 10, and not massively happy about doing physics on a Sunday afternoon. On the bright side, sitting next to him, I'm learning shit I didn't know.

Here’s a little insight into how I create content, using the first three seconds of this video as an example.
I think the funniest part of the entire thing happens right at the beginning, when someone in the audience yells, “Pirates suck!”
When I write a moment like that, I’m not just adding a random heckler. I’m thinking about who would realistically be sitting in the audience at my podcast.
In theory, this guy is a loyal follower. He waited months for tickets. He is thrilled to be there.
But two other things also have to be true:
1. He has to be unhinged enough to scream during the show.
2. He needs a backstory explaining why he hates pirates this much.
Does he hate all pirates, or just Somali pirates?
Because that is an extremely specific grievance.
Maybe his girlfriend left him for a Johnny Depp look alike.
Maybe eye patches make him feel insecure.
Like, why can this man function with one eye when I am a failure to my family and have two?
I know I’m weird, but I think through every tiny component when I create these moments.
Anyway, it lasts about three seconds, but I still think it’s the funniest part of the entire video.
It’s completely absurd, but it made me giggle.
