What's one blessing you're grateful for today?

Today at PodFest Naija 2026, I engaged with some of the people shaping how Lagos and Nigeria are seen by the world. Our young creators, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, podcasters, musicians and tech builders are proving every day that talent can become opportunity when the right support is in place. We have made progress with digital infrastructure, innovation, transport and cultural spaces but there is still more to do. We must make it easier for talent to access funding, protect their work, build sustainable businesses and earn fairly from what they create. That is the Lagos I believe in and want us to keep building together. A Lagos where a young person with an idea can find the support to make it real. We are ready to partner with the people who believe in Lagos and are willing to build with us. I am ready to keep listening and keep working with you. Igbega Ipinle Eko, Ajumose Gbogbo wa ni.

Remember: slow growth is still growth.
