I once had a friend whose relationship with God made me sad. This brother often quoted the Bible like this: "My pastor said the Bible said......." I advised him to change that approach. He never changed. We met last year, and I noticed he had been on and off with God.

When you consider how this world works, you can't but agree that humans are not meant to stay here forever. There must a place we all must go at the end of life. Hills, mountains, rivers and seas continue for centuries. But human come and go Surely, this world is not our home.

I will always appeal to people to have a personal relationship with God. Yes, listen to your pastor and obey the Word of God he preaches. But when you get home, open your Bible and study again what you hear in church. Know them yourself. Let God teach you directly too.

The truth doesn't wait for us to feel ready or be in the mood. We cannot say, "Don't preach to me now. I don't feel like hearing about Jesus. I'm not in the mood. This is not the right time." We have time to collect free money. Why don't we have time for our souls too?

Where you come from doesn't matter. What matters is where you're going now. Who you were doesn't matter. What matters is who you are now. What you wanted to become doesn't matter. What matters is what you want to become now. God is ready to give you a fresh start NOW.

When I was a kid, I thought actors who appeared in flashbacks and dreams in movies were not paid because they only appeared in imaginary scenes. But they're paid as much as others. I pray for you today: may your dream come true. May you achieve what you dream and believe in.

God could have easily created everything in one second, one minute or one day. But He chose not to do that. He knew He would one day share the creation story with mortals who are naturally desperate and impatient. Imagine waiting for one minute to conceive and birth a child.

Does it mean instant miracles and opportunities don't exist? No, they do. If you look at the creation story, you will discover that God created many things instantly. But it took 7 days for the entire earth to take perfect shape. That's the lesson God is teaching us about life.

Take life one day at a time. Do what you can do today today. Do what you can do this week this week. Do what you can do this month this month. Gradually, you will see great opportunities, get your dream job, meet the right people and achieve your goals in life.

Don't argue too long with people. Everyone has someone they listen to. When you present facts and people still keep;on arguing, don't get upset or resort to insults. No, don't do that. Say this instead "You'll hear this same thing I said from your mentor, coach, pastor."

By doing this, you help the other person to: 1. Develop an open mind 2. Pay attention to what people say 3. Ponder on what you said and expect further clarification People are too attached to the persons they adore. It takes God's grace to learn outside the circle we created.

The beauty of this method is that the person will hear their mentor say the exact thing you say sooner or later. If you're sure of your facts and the truth in what you say, dont worry. If the mentor of the other person is genuine, he or she will soon validate your facts/truth.

"Give Caesar what belongs to Caeser, and to God what belongs to God." Before you say YES, keep in mind that we cannot give Caeser what belongs to God. Only God should be obeyed completely and worshipped faithfully. When Caeser wants us to sin, we must not be afraid to say NO.

A believer traveled to the village and was told to sacrifice to the gods of the land before he would be allowed to bury the dead. He complied. When we confronted him, he said "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God." That's a fatal error.

There are people who pay attention to dreams more than anything else. They can recall and analyze every detail of the dream they had the night before. If only they have the same faith in God, study His Word and believe His promises as they do these dreams, things will change.

There's something I always do when I walk past people. I use my limited understanding to guess what they might be going through in life. Then as I walk past, I whisper a prayer, a plea and a heartcry to God to show them mercy and save them from whatever they're going through.

Everyday is a gift from God. You may be here today and not here tomorrow. You may be healthy today and sick tomorrow. You may be strong today and weak tomorrow. See every day as an opportunity from God to help you prepare for eternity. Stop ignoring the obvious facts of life.

Don't let discouragement stop you. People pay you for WHAT you sell or WHAT you render as services. But sometimes, people pay you for HOW you sell or HOW you offer services. So don't quit yet. Your uniqueness and methods can be your breakthrough. Polish them. Improve them.
