GeoConfirmed conflictmap UKR. [GRAPHIC THREAD] The Kherson Human Safari continues. Since May 2024, Russian units near Kherson purposefully target Ukrainian civilians ! This is a known Russian inhuman strategy: Their aim is to instill fear and break the will of the Ukrainian people. Below is only a fraction of what the community has geolocated. Special thanks to @99Dominik_ for the geolocation of most of the footage. For years, Russia has now carried out war crimes on an unprecedented scale. In June 2025 (!) Human Rights Watch already investigated this. International humanitarian law, also known as the laws of war, prohibits attacks intentionally targeting civilians and civilian objects. Nevertheless, Russian forces using drones have frequently made individual civilians and civilian property and infrastructure in Kherson the targets of attacks. Russian drones have been armed with banned antipersonnel landmines and been used to carry out attacks with incendiary weapons in populated areas, which is unlawful. Such attacks, when viewed individually, are violations of the laws of war that when committed with criminal intent constitute war crimes. Examined in their totality and over time, the pattern of attacks appears to be part of an apparent Russian strategy whose primary purpose has been to spread terror among the civilian population. hrw.org/report/2025/06/03/hu… On year later and Russia is still conducting these warcrimes. This thread shows only a fraction of the civilians who have been attacked. The world needs to see that these civilians are being deliberately killed = a war crime under international humanitarian law. Their deaths must not be in vain.
