I learned how The Software Engineer’s Guidebook (@EngGuidebook) ended up being translated to Mongolian: This engineer (Suiribaatar) bought the English version, liked it, and suggested to his company (Nasha Tech) to translate it. The company did it. You can just do things.

To be clear, the team at Nasha Tech reached put for permission to do so: they translated it with the intent to distribute it within Mongolia, starting with printing ~1,000 copies. It all started with this one dev thinking “more people should read this in their native language”

And in the photo, that’s me in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, at Nasha Tech offices, before the book launch. Nasha Tech is a developer agency with 80% of their companies being from Japan (!) Super organized, very ambitious and probably did the most thorough translation of the book so far (about 10 devs proof read it!!) nashatech.com

I learned the word ‘pragmatic’ from you for the first time! I also really want to read your book! Please consider translating it into Turkish as well, so I can quickly and comfortably read it in my native language :) By the way, it’s amazing how much everything can change with just one touch! :)

thank you, but the way all translations work (save for Hungarian, that I speak) is a publisher or company volunteers to translate it, and publish it. Translation is a LOT of work: - Translate - Edit - Proofread with devs - Create print version - Print books Lots of time+money!

Por favor traducirlo al español, es lo que nos hace falta a los hispanohablantes, saludos.
